Konnichiwa!
Well folks this is my third day in Japan, sorry about not blogging yesterday. Not a ton has happened, but I'll still fill you in.
Yesterday we moved out of the Ryoukan and moved to Tokyo. I guess I was wrong about Narita being part of Tokyo, sorry :p. Anyways we took a charter bus to Tokyo, stopping at the Tokyo Metro Tower, which is some sort of Japanese business building. On the 40th or so floor there's an observation deck, where you could see all over the city. It was incredible; there was a sea of buildings are far as you could see. I forgot my camera on the bus, so I apologize for the lack of pictures.
After that we finally got to go the the NYC, or the National Youth Center, where we are staying. We all get our own rooms, though they are pretty small.
So ya its nothin' special, but at least it's my own room! I don't, however, get my own shower :/. We once again have a public bath which means no privacy, woo! Guess I'll get used to it, it'll be the only thing I've got for 6 weeks -_-.
Anyways today we had a Japanese placement test, which went alright. Hopefully I don't get stuck in a low level class...
Afterward's I grabbed lunch/breakfast at the convenience store on campus, here's a pic of what I ate!
It was delicious!!!
Well, that's about it for right now, more orientation this afternoon, peace!
